Clicking the TARGET ADDRESS tab brings up the SNMP TARGET ADDRESS
SETTINGS page, which configures SNMP target address parameters. The
parameters for this page are shown in the following table.
Parameter Description
Target Name This parameter specifies a T
ARGET NAME as a unique
identifier.
Target IP Address The T
ARGET IP ADDRESS specifies a target address to be
used in the generation of SNMP operations.
Target Timeout T
ARGET TIMEOUT specifies the maximum round trip for
communicating with the T
ARGET IP ADDRESS.
Target Retries T
ARGET RETRIES specifies the number of attempts to be
made when no response is received
Transport Tag The T
RANSPORT TAG value is used to select a target
address for a particular operation.
Param P
ARAM contains SNMP parameters to be used when
generating messages to be sent to a transport address.
Storage Type Use this parameter to specify whether the S
