Installing and removing storage
devices
The system supports one 3.5-inch and three 5.25-inch internal storage
devices. The system comes pre-installed with a floppy drive and a CD-
ROM drive. The two empty 5.25-inch half-height bays allow you to
install additional drives such as another optical drive or a tape drive.
To remove a 5.25-inch storage device
1 Observe the ESD precautions and pre-installation procedures
described on page 37.
2 Disconnect the power and bus cables from the old drive.
3 Press the tool-less locking tabs on each side of the CD-ROM drive
(1) before pulling it from the chassis (2).
