Extreme expandability

With support for up to two Intel® Xeon® E5 v2 processors,

twenty-four DDR3 memory slots, up to twelve 3.5” hard

drives or twenty-four 2.5” hard drives, and six PCIe 3.0 slots

plus optional redundant 750 W power supplies, the R380 F2

can be con gured for any enterprise or high-performance

application.

Energy-saving technology

As with all Acer rack servers, the R380 F2 uses only 80 PLUS

certi ed power supplies. This server is equipped with up to

two 750 W 80 PLUS Platinum-level power supplies, low-

voltage memory modules, and the latest power-saving

chipset technology to deliver maximum performance with

minimum power-draw.

Robust I/O expandability

Quali ed to work in any environment, the R380 F2 is tested

to work with gigabit and 10 gigabit Ethernet connections,

 bre channel, and even high-performance In niBand™ at

both QDR and FDR levels. Plus, optional I/O modules can

be equipped for dedicated iKVM remote management or

additional LAN connectivity, saving valuable PCIe expansion.

With eighty PCIe 3.0 lanes of bandwidth, the R380 F2 will

keep up in any high-performance scenario.
